The defensemen Dennis Seidenberg and Matthew Bartkowski are now Boston Bruins. Going to the Florida Panthers are the forwards Craig Weller and Byron Bitz, along with a 2nd-round pick in a draft to be determined.
Seidenberg played for Germany at the Vancouver Games.
