The Phoenix Coyotes have acquired defenseman Mathieu Schneider from the Vancouver Canucks. The return package has not been determined, or is still being constructed. In any event, Schneider is off to another team.
Also on the move is forward Jeff Halpern, who is leaving the Tampa Bay Lightning to join the Los Angeles Kings. The return pack on this deal also is still to be determined.
