More Playoffs? It's the ECHL

The first round of the East Coast Hockey League playoffs begin tonight with the Stockton Thunder facing the Alaska Aces. All playoff series in the first round are best of five.

Charlotte is the top seeded team in the East. Idaho, the top seeded team in the West, has a bye in the first round.

The first-round pairings are as follows:

Friday: Alaska at Stockton
Saturday: Alaska at Stockton, if necessary

Bakersfield Condors at Victoria Salmon Kings
