The Manchester Monarchs and the Hershey Bears will begin their Eastern Conference finals series starting May 12 in Hershey.
The Bears, who have been waiting since April 29 to learn of their opponent, is the higher seeded team in this American Hockey League conference final. In the Western Conference, the Texas Stars and the Hamilton Bulldogs lead their second-round series, 3-2.
Texas plays Chicago this afternoon and Abbotsford will be at Hamilton on Monday.
The Eastern Conference finals are as follows. The series is best of seven.
