Subban Heads Back to AHL

P.K. Subban will extend his playoff experiences at least for one more game. The Montreal Canadiens have sent the young defenseman back to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.

The Bulldogs and the Texas Stars are locked into a 3-3 tie in their semifinal series, with the deciding game set for Wednesday in Hamilton. The winner will face the Hershey Bears in the Calder Cup finals.

According to NHL.com, Subban had a goal and 7 assists in 14 playoff games with Montreal. In two regular-season games with the Canadiens in 2009-10, he recorded 2 assists. Subban had 18 goals and 35 assists this season with the Bulldogs.

Game 7 of the Stars-Bulldogs series can be viewed on the AHL's pay-per-view Web package. For those less inclined to spend, it can be heard via the teams' Web sites at no charge. The games can also be heard on satellite radio.
