Picks to Click. But Will They?

All kinds of breakdowns in this segment of the picks to click, so Led Zeppelin is the call at the jukebox as we pick the teams to watch on Wednesday night.

Buffalo is having problems; New Jersey has even more. Eyesore meets eyesore. The setting? Beee-youuuuuuuu-tee-ful Newark. A real scrap between troubled teams. That gets the modestly sized HD monitor in the Lounge, starting at 7 pm Eastern. The big screen goes to .... Toronto at Florida at 7:30 Eastern.

I know Boston is playing Pittsburgh tonight (7 pm Eastern) and that St. Louis is at Columbus (7 pm Eastern). Even Phoenix at Chicago (8:30 Eastern) might be more entertaining. But I am not looking for entertainment tonight.

I want to see one woeful team attempt to solve a few problems at another woeful team's expense. My two early games will have plenty of discussion points. The late game is the sad-sack Islanders at Anaheim at 10 pm Eastern. Big screen all the way.

Wednesday's hockey lineup in the Lounge is full of woe. Just the way we like it.
