Hockey Games Today. Your Welcome

World Cup of Hockey exhibitions are on tap in the Lounge. OK, it is exhibition hockey, but these games will have the top players in the world, so I am going to give this round of action the Lounge's Full Pour of Approval.

Sweden plays Finland at noon Eastern and the Czechs and Russians play at 12:30 pm Eastern. Both games are available online on ESPN3/WatchESPN app/THE INTERNET DAMMIT.

If you still have cable and an Internet subscription through a telco provider, you can watch the games on your desktop/laptop or you can hook your laptop to your big flatscreen to create a larger-than-life computer monitor to watch the games. But you can watch the games today. The best thing about the ESPNTheInternetDammit feature is that games are archived for on-demand viewing. If you are a SlingTV subscriber, you can watch the games on the ESPNTheInternetDammit function (enter Sling TV under the provider list). If you want to watch directly through SlingTV, you will only be able to get the games on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNews. That is why I suggest the ESPNTheInternetDammit feature for the exhibition games, at least, for those cable cutters and those cable subscribers who want to watch ESPN3. (In Canada, Rogers Sportsnet is the source, with NHL GameCentre Live in Canada also having the feed. NHL.tv in the United States does not have the package.)

The third game of the day is tonight, when the Euros play the North American Young Guns at 8 Eastern. This game will be on ESPN2 as well as all the ESPNTheInternetDammit outlets.

While we wait, the KHL has seven league games going on either right now or soon. For some reason Dynamo Moscow at Ak Bars Kazan and Jokerit Helsinki at Salavat Yulaev Ufa are the games that are calling me, with the bonus game being Lokomotiv Yaroslavl at Lada Togliatti.

In any event, a Full Pour of games. I approve of this message.
