Bad Second Period for Nabokov

Twenty shots, 17 saves, one loss for Evgeny Nabokov.

Nabokov, whom the San Jose Sharks allowed to go free rather than pay for a new contract, experienced one of those periods with which we are all to familiar when it comes to the former man in teal.

Severstal recored a 3-0 victory over visiting SKA in KHL action on Friday. We're starting to get up to speed on the league, and it is nice to have box scores in English to look at. (You cannot imagine what Web translators do with Cyrillic type.) And it's also great to have some video coverage from Russia Today, which has this feature, with video, on Ak Bars.

Here is a statistical recap of the day's action.
