Welcome Back, NHL Campers

Much thanks to Florence & the Machine for "Dog Days Are Over," my new official salute to the end of summer. Good riddance. No time for daydreaming or gawking at clouds. The pace is picking up, the comfort zone has evaporated. There are fewer seats on the bus or train. And the one that's left won't be had without a fight.

It's time for hockey. NHL training camps are open and the Lounge will start a regular schedule of service this weekend. Posts, quips, complaints and good topics from other writers will all make an appearance along the brass rail here in the Lounge.
